With all project permits in place, this past week the crews started work on the next phase of the project which is to stabilize the soil underneath the concrete pool decking. The Amenities Committee has been in constant contact with the project manager, Pace Development, throughout the process and project. We speak with them at least 2-3 times per week either in person or via email. The committee members also make daily visits to the site and take many pictures as you see here.
With rain this Friday and again Sunday & Monday, the committee plans to meet with representatives from Pace Development and Artisan Concrete on Tuesday April 9. We plan to review the current status, items that have come to our attention with repairs and next steps with coping replacement and finally concrete replacement.
The concrete replacement will only be the largest part of the project. After the concrete is cured and we start to move back in and open for the season, the crews will begin to dig the new French drains on either side of the fence line to ensure that water runoff is drained away from the pool decking to help prevent lifting and buckling of the concrete. We, along with the Board of Directors, will continue to hold Pace Development to our highest standards with one of our largest community owned properties. Once completed, we will have all reports and documentation from the project prior to Lennar turnover of the deed to the property.
We continue to hold for a May 10, 2019 Season Opening and will keep the community abreast of any changes.
